We are finally winding down after a LONG day! We started our fourth by going to Nana and Papa's house at lunch time. We ate with them and visited for a few hours. Then we headed to Union to hang out for the rest of the day. When we got down there, the girls went swimming with Sarabeth, Leah, Anna, Jason, Julie and Ian. Shane and I went for a few minutes and took pictures. Then we went back to Gurney's house and took Ian back with us.
Around 7pm, we headed to Foster's Park for the annual fireworks display. We have started going to that every year! We had a ton of people with us! Mere, Pop, Julie, Jason, Ian, Gurney, Sarabeth, Joey, Anna, Rachel, and Nancy! We also hung out with some of the ladies from mom's office and their families. Karen brought sparklers and the kids got to hold some of those! Morgan really likes them!
For a small town, Union puts on one of the best fireworks shows around! Emma LOVES them now. She ran around with Anna all evening. They got cute glasses that light up! Morgan was a little scared of the fireworks at first. Then she realized she really liked them and laughed for a bit. But before they were over, she had fallen asleep! I held Ryan and kept his ears covered. He slept through the entire thing!
We got back home around 10:30. The girls got to bed after 11, so I am hoping they sleep late!
