This weekend we made our annual trip to see the Christmas lights at James Island in Charleston. The last couple of years, it has been a girls weekend (plus Ian). This year, Shane, Jason and Ryan joined us. Friday afternoon, we got the girls out of school a couple of hours early and headed down. We dropped my mom and baby Ivy off at the hotel, and went to the park. We drove through the first park of the park, then parked and got out. We went on the train first. Ryan absolutely LOVED it! He was fascinated with all of the lights! We also roasted marshmallows and looked around the gift shop.
This is my favorite picture of the entire trip. Julie asked me to take a picture of her, Jason and Ian. I love that they are completely oblivious to what Shane is doing. And the look on Shane's face is absolutely priceless!
And to be fair, the picture without the goofy bunny ears!
