Disney World!

Yay!  We finally made it to Disney World!  Shane and I went for our 1 year anniversary, and things seemed a little different on the drive in.  I didn't remember it being SO far to get to the main gate, but between the shuttle and the monorail, we finally made it to the park.  The first thing we noticed: the crowds!  Oh my word, it was so crowded.  You couldn't move without bumping into someone.  Remind me not to go back during spring break week..ever again!

Right inside the entrance, there was a stand selling Mickey ears.  Of course, the girls wanted some.  And of course, as soon as Emma got her, she wanted someone else to hold them!  Morgan loved hers though and wore them for a long time.  My mom ended up wearing Emma's for most of the day!

We stopped for pictures in front of Cinderella's castle, then headed straight for the kids rides.  We got in line for Dumbo first.  It was a LONG line, but everyone has to ride Dumbo, right?!  We rode a few other things and then headed for lunch.  That was a madhouse too!  But the girls were thrilled because we got pizza!

We found ourselves standing in long lines most of the day.  We sent Shane to get Fast Passes to some rides while we stood in lines for other things.  The girls were troopers.  The really didn't complain much at all!

After dinner, we went staked out spots on Main Street so we would have a good view of the parade.  We had an hour or more to spare, so we left Shane and my dad to keep our spots, and mom and I took the girls into a shop to buy souveniers.  This was another stressful event because it was so crowded.  It was hard keeping up with the girls.  I think everyone had the same idea as we did...shop until time for the parade.  The girls finally picked out everything they wanted, and I got a few other things for Ryan.  Then we headed back outside for the parade.  I loved watching the girls as they watched the parade.  It was so much fun!

Following the parade, we waited around for the fireworks over the castle.  Wow!  That was such a great show!  We all loved watching the fireworks set to the music!  As soon as the show ended, we (along with almost everyone else!) headed for the exit.  Morgan fell asleep on Shane's shoulder.  It was too cute!
