The Easter bunny came and left lots of goodies!
It took the girls a few minutes to wake up and get excited about their baskets!

You would never know it was Ryan's first Easter...he knew exactly what to do with his basket!

After checking out the baskets and getting all done up in our new Easter duds, it was time to head to church. I always want to make sure that my children know the real reason we celebrate Easter. Baskets, bunnies and eggs are fun, but Easter is really all about celebrating the fact that our Saviour rose from the grave, just as He said he would.
Ryan and his buddy Ayden

After church, we headed down to Gurney's house for lunch! Lunch at Gurney's is always good! We had the traditional ham, potato salad, green beans, etc.

After lunch, it was time to hunt eggs!

The egg hunt didn't last too long. The girls found something they were more interested in...caterpillar. They all fought over who got to hold the first one, so they hunted all afternoon until they each had at least one or two apiece! Who needs eggs? Hey, maybe we will have the annual Easter caterpillar hunt from now on!

How you doin'?!
