Today we started out the day with a dolphin-sighting excursion. My mom and I took the girls on the trip. We left out of a marina in Murrells Inlet. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins. The other tours that morning saw lots of them. But we didn't see a single one. The boat ride was really fun though. We had a great captain. He explained a lot about our surroundings, and he had a great sense of humor. Once, he started screaming that his steering was out and proceeded to do a donut in the middle of the ocean! That was a new one!
After the tour, we went to McDonalds for a bite to eat. Then we took the girls to the Lazy Gator to get a few souveniers. Morgan picked out a fairy necklace. Em went with a dolphin necklace!
Proof positive that Morgan can sleep anywhere. She slept for about 15 minutes on the choppy waves in the middle of the ocean!
Ian listened to Julie's Ipod for nearly an hour! I have never seen a child sit that still for that long!
For dinner, we went to River City Cafe. They have excellent hamburgers.
While we were waiting on our food, a really bad storm came up. The clouds over the ocean were really eery looking!
The girls loved the fact that you could write on the chairs, tables, walls, etc! I think they drew pictures on everything!
