HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIE!
We started off our third full day at the beach at our most favorite little breakfast place...Nibils. It is located on the pier at Surfside Beach. We love the food and the atmosphere! You can sit and watch the water while you eat! My dad decided to head back home today, so we went to eat breakfast before he left! Then we stopped in the little store next door and my mom bought the girls little sea shell purses.
After that, we hit the beach again! Well, the kids actually spent most of the day in the pool.
At dinner time, we all got cleaned up and headed to the Chesapeake House in North Myrtle Beach to have dinner for Julie's birthday. She is 29 today! We love the Chesapeake House. They have a wonderful fish stew that we all love! Poor Morgan was so tired, she fell asleep before the food arrived! She slept through the entire dinner! (And all the way back to the condo too!) Ryan, well, totally different story. He ate the entire time we were there. I honestly don't know where he put it all. If you got behind in getting the food to him, he let everyone know about it, too!
There is a pond behind the restaurant that has alligators and turtles in it. After we ate, we had to go check them out. The turtles were coming right up to the fence!
Then we headed back to the condo for some birthday ice cream! We also went out on the beach and watched a really cool lightning storm off in the distance. It was really neat! Me, mom, Julie, Emma, Anna and Sarabeth sat out there for the longest time feeling the ocean breeze and watching the storm. Very neat!
