After checking out all of the fun stuff Santa brought, we loaded up and headed over to Nana and Papa's house. We were going to open presents and have lunch with Nana's side of the family. We thought we would have plenty of time to open family gifts, so we brought out the piles of presents. And I do mean PILES! The girls, true to fashion, ripped through theirs in record time. But not long after we started opening the other stuff, guests started arriving early. So, we moved the piles out and cleaned up a little.
Family members that came were Aunt Edna, Timmy, Donna, Daniel, Jessica, Lynn, Cole, Jade, Gayle, and Boyce. Uncle Jimmy also came over. Once again, we ate way too much food, and felt completely stuffed!
After everyone left, we pulled out the presents and finished opening everything. The girls got some cute dresses. Morgan got a cute blanket that Amanda made. She totally loved it! And I think one of their favorite things was a box of fun pipe cleaners. They didn't know what to do with them at first, but caught on quickly! Emma made herself a cute headpiece! Ryan got an awesome Radio Flyer rocket. That is all he needed. He stayed on it for the rest of the day!
The neatest thing we all gave Nana was a bracelet in memory of Grandmother Clary. This was the first Christmas without her. At her funeral, Gayle told us about a lady that made bracelets using flowers from the graveside. So, Shane and I took all colors of flowers from the different arrangements and had a bracelet made for Nana.
Ryan was totally off his schedule with all of the holiday activities. Bless his heart, he fell asleep with food in his mouth!

Nothing like ending the festivities with a family dog pile. Ask Ryan, he now knows how to say it!
