New Years day, Shane and slept in. The girls had spent the night over at Julie's house with her, Ian and my mom. Thankfully Ryan slept in too! We hung out around the house most of the morning. Then we headed to Union for our traditional New Years Day lunch...pork roast, black eyed peas, greens, and cornbread! It was SO good!
The girls had fun playing with Anna. They always find creative things to do. Today, they decided to set up a Pepsi stand! Apparently lemonade stands are a thing of the past. They took a little bottle of Pepsi outside and poured it into small bathroom cups. They were charging $1 per cup! Too funny! I think their only customer was my mom. I guess people aren't really in the market for overpriced Pepsi on a cold winter day!
Before leaving, we made a quick trip to Foster Park to feed the ducks. Then we headed back to Roebuck to visit with Nana and Papa.
