Emma gets her ears pierced!

Emma has been talking about getting her ears pierced for a while now. She has been going back and forth about it. But recently two of her friends got their ears pierced, and she has been pretty sure about getting hers done too. We explained to her that it was going to hurt a little...and she said she was okay with that. So today we took her to Claire's at the mall. She was so excited. She sat still while the lady marked the spot on her ears and made sure they were even. When she pierced the first one though, Em cried. :( I felt bad for her. She didn't cry long though. And she sat still while the lady did the second ear. Bless her heart! She really wanted the earrings! There was a little girl waiting in line to have hers done that chickened out while watching Em, though! Thankfully, the lady put the cleaner on immediately, and I think that helped Em out. She was fine after that! Then she was PROUD! You couldn't wipe the smile off of her face for anything! We met Amanda, Nana, Nickie and her kids for lunch, and Em had to show off her new earrings!
