MLK day...no school

The kids were out of school today due to Martin Luther King day. We started the morning off with no real plans. The girls slept a little late, but Ryan was up pretty early. We were slow to get moving. The girls watched a few cartoons and played with their Nintendo DS and Leapster 2.

Jessica called just before lunch and asked if we wanted to do lunch. So, we met her and Susan for lunch. I dropped Ryan off with my inlaws. (Thanks, Nana and Papa!) Jessica just had Nicholas. And Susan just had 3 of her kids. It was a really fun afternoon. We went to Chic Fil A. We got a booth right beside the glassed-in play area. So the kids could play while the grown-ups talked. And talk we did! The kids ate, played, got ice cream, and played some more. And us big girls talked some more! Before we realized it, it was after 4pm! We had spent the entire afternoon sitting at Chic Fil A! But it was a ton of fun, and I hope we can do it again soon!
