For the last several years, we have started going to the fair in Union with my aunt and cousin Anna. It is a little smaller than the one in Spartanburg, and we just enjoy the small town atmosphere. (It seems like everyone knows everyone there!)
Last night, I took the girls down early and we met up with Sarabeth, Anna and Gurney. We went on to the fair and let the kids start riding rides. They were so cute! And they had a ton of fun.
My mom, Julie, Jason and Ian came down around 6:30. When they got there we decided to sit down and eat. Emma was not thrilled because Sarabeth and Anna left us and continued to ride. But I made Em eat because I knew she needed to. She proceeded to pout in between eating 8 Chic Fil A nuggets.
After dinner, we hit the rides again. Emma headed off with Anna and we took Morgan and Ian to see the farm animals. Then we let Morgan and Emma pick up a duck in one of the game booths. Morgan won a cute purple ball and Emma won a necklace with rubber duckies on it.
By this point we were pooped. So, we took the girls back to Gurney's house and gave them a bath and put them in the jammies. They both fell asleep on the ride home!
