Sick kiddos!

All 3 kids have been sick this weekend. Isn't it too early in the cold season for this mess? Friday night Morgan started crying and screaming around midnight. She had croup really bad...that barking type of cough. We went in to get her, and she was having trouble getting her breath. We bundled her up and Shane went walking outside with her at 12:30am. She eventually settled down. We put a humidifier in her room and she did okay the rest of the night.

Sunday her and Emma both were coughing and stopped up. Thankfully today, they both seemed to be better.

Ryan, however, is another story. He has been coughing for a while. But this morning he was stopped up and had a runny nose. He also had a fever of 101. I was going to just ride things out. But then he started hitting at his ear. So I took him to the doctor. Both ears are red...with his left one being worse. He also has a little rattle in his chest. Poor baby! So, we got an antibiotic. I hope it kicks in quickly because he is pitiful! He has lost his voice, so his cry is this high-pitched raspy noise.

One interesting thing about his appointment today was his weight. My chuncky monkey weighed 19 pounds, 6 ounces.
